Sir Thomas at 20, will you please read Poem #2, A Prelude to My Lady?

Sorry folks of YAP and abroad in Y!A land, I was just asking if you would read my poem?

I have not posted it here. One reason, is because a perfectly decent poem, which by the way was posted in it's original form about a year ago but has been edited >> but someone found it in there heart "offensive" I guess and had the need to report it. Therefore, the poem is automatically deep sixed without any due process.

Now I have been told I need to look in the mirror. Great suggestion. I have done more soul searching and heart change in my life as one can imagine. All I did was post a harmless poem about a series I wrote and put a lot of hard work into.

How would you like to be arrested for being a decent person? That is what is happening here with a lot of people, because this system protects the ones that hide.

So, my question here is:

Can I post this poem? Will you let me? In fact, let me post this series, and I will then leave YAP. That is a promise. Let me finish here with grace.

Where is the fairness here? Can YOU, or anyone, just report because they feel like it, they don't like you, or you are less than 150 points from Level 7 and don't want to see you there. That is something I was not even aware of until the other day. Well, one of you is and you don't like it. That is the person that also needs to look in the mirror and realize how you can hurt people by doing this. Is there a good feeling you get out of it, is that it?

Now I have been reported before, for what reason, I have no idea, and I sympathize with some of you (you know who you are) who have been brutalized by this system and have your poems deleted mercilessly and unfairly. I am not writing this too on your behalf, that might upset you, but I want to tell you "I am sorry for you that it happened." Does that mean it needs to happen here to me, again?

I would like to see some decent folks answer this, what do I do? I have over 10 poems I want to release here, and now I have a roving reporter ready to pounce on me. For what? What have I done? What is this poem to you? Can't you appreciate it, or partake in the joy of words that can be expressed beautifully or at least with passion, even if you disagree with it's content?

Thank you all for your answers. I did not expect this question to last this long on YAP.

Dave: We have discussed this in private and I prefer we keep it that way. I feel for YOU, but I get the feeling that because this happened to me there is this "Now you know how it feels Thomas" attitude. I have had poems blocked in the past, but this is a series I spent hours on, and I offended no one on it. Dave, this is the most you have ever said to me. Can you answer one of my poems and find one thing good, or bad I did, that I can improve? I would appreciate it because you are one of the best poets here, and that's a fact. If some don't like me saying that, I am sorry, but it's the truth.

Update 2:

Soc: I do not know if rephrasing will change a thing. Poem #1 is still there and I phrased that exactly like I did on the one that was reported. I framed my question into a question, and felt I went by YAP guidelines on it. I will think about modifying it. Thanks for your answer and your integrity.

Camille: Thank you, Thank you. The poem has been unfairly deleted twice, and I shall try again. Please pray for the person that reports my poem, and that he or she will find in their heart to allow this series to continue. All I want to do is be able to put up all my work, and not having poem #2 scuttles that plan. Thanks

Update 4:

Thanks to all that have answered this statement and question, and also to all those who gave it a star. I have now tried to post Poem #2 I believe three times now, each time reported and deleted by Yahoo. Well, I have now posted it again and it has been up for 2 hours. It looks as though the reporter has had a possible change of heart, and I pray so, and will leave the poem for good, though the law of diminishing returns has looked to have kicked in with only one answer, at least the poem is there, and for that I am grateful. I will not close this one and give BA to the one I think deserves it the most. Thanks all. Thomas

    Ignore them!

    Those who do not want to read, let them not read. Ignore them. People like them are there in every section.

    And there was seriously nothing offensive in that poem. It was getting interesting.

    So, a kind request- do not stop posting. You are a great poet and I enjoy reading your poems.

    If you know who it is, then block him. Once blocked he won't be able to see your poems.

    Yes post it as you know yahoo does Nothing about the troll problem on this board and so many of my good friends have left this board because they did not want to have to fight off the immature nuts that rule these boards hacking into peoples computers and doing mass reporting.

    I am sad that this place has turned into this kind of place.

    so post your poem and pray that those who did not like it before are all asleep out side and do not have internet access anymore either.

    I haven't reported any poems, although there were times I complained about them directly to the writer, in my response. (An Asian man was writing graphic poems about sexual intercourse).

    I have apparently broken the rules here, in ways I don't understand here, many times, and had questions and answers deleted, and points deducted.

    So, people are asking you to report me, eh? Care to share who that is? I mean, you are so very upset that YOU are reported, won't you tell us who is going around Y!AP asking others to report ME? Seems like the right thing to do, eh Thomas? Especially with how upset YOU are about being reported??
