34 weeks pregnant and fell in driveway? What do I do?

Last night I fell in the driveway and scraped my knee pretty badly. I didn't hit my tummy, thank god, but I did twist my torso. I don't usually feel the baby much during the night, but I have only felt him move once since then. I am having a little bit of pain in the pelvic region but it could aslo be the baby dropping. I am at work and one woman has already called in, so I don't really want to leave. Do I need to go to the doctor even though I appear to be fine?

If you feel fine, and baby is moving and you aren't bleeding, you are fine. You fell from a standing position to your knee, which isn't very far.

Baby is much better protected than many people seem to think.

Call the doctor if you're concerned, but I'm she will tell you you are fine.

You don't have to ask us. I very much doubt there is anything wrong, but hey, I'm not the doctor. The doctor however has a phone number you can call with questions like this. They will tell you whether you need to come in or can stay at work.

KIZZY!, YES YOU NEED TO GO, that's the jobs issue that someone called out, you have a responsibility to you and your baby....although you may appear fine on the outside you don't know what's going on in the inside........get up go tell your boss I need to seek medical attention, I will keep you posted, go get checked and get a note from dr. Hope all is well, good luck!

    Source(s): I fell when pregnant also....pregnancy makes you clumsy....lol

i would. just to be on the safe side. if your doctor's office has a place where you could call a nurse that is right there do it. see what he/she says.
