Unfortunately, it is not possible to retrieve the previous U.S. edition of Yahoo's homepage nor to change the current page color scheme and favorites set-up. If you read Answers on the topic, you will find that many, like you, are extremely unhappy about it. Yahoo evidently doesn't think it is a problem that people very strongly dislike the new page, and they are losing long-time clients over it. They may not be accommodating because the new home page is an algorithm that tracks your likes so advertising can be targeted to you. Unfortunately, they do not seem to fully understand their demographic. Anyway, selling ads would mean more money for Yahoo--(and bigger bonuses for Marissa Mayer, CEO.) In time, the links at the left are supposed to reflect your preferences. I personally have no interest in "training this dog." So what to do? Some are customizing My Yahoo pages to their satisfaction, some are using Canada's home page which is still in the previous format, others are finding new home pages from competitors that better meet their needs. You may send Yahoo feedback about their new home page by clicking the "Sponsored Question" at the top of Other-Yahoo Products section in Yahoo Answers.
EDIT: Now this is very curious, a poster in answers put out this link: ipv4.yahoo.com
which they said takes you to the good old home page. I tried it, and it is working now. Let's hope it is here to stay!

How do I remove articles from the new Yahoo? I'm getting tired of seeing spoilers in the titles for movies that I have not yet seen. Not everyone wants to pay $15 per ticket for the movie theater.

i'm upset because of the fact each time you get a internet web site the way you like somebody is changing it. i did no longer ask for the hot web site and that i do no longer like it. Please placed my homepage with yahoo lower back to the way it grow to be on 02/19/2013 and depart it that way. i'm going to alter to a distinctive internet-web site if mandatory. thank you
