Its totally a YAHOO error, and not your computer. I am re-posting my response to another person's same complaint.....

This major issue has been going on for almost one week and whatever you do, don't dare come across as incensed, and very angry, b/c some of the Yahoo 'contributors' here will delete your emails, and thus try to silence you, and the issue, that everyone including myself is mad as a hornet about!! But I say, sock it too em, anyway!

It's not so much the "contributors" fault here, the real blame should be the blatant disregard that Yahoo management obviously has for their customers by not at all addressing the issue publically, and leaving the issue unaddressed and unattended publically. Its like the elephant in the living room, that they are choosing to ignore, but NOT making any announcement, publically other than the canned generic response that at least a few of 'contributors' are posting FOR Yahoo here.

So, yes, it's a major Yahoo email malfunction, and now anyone who has a yahoo email account is not able to send any attachments.

Again, whatever you do here, just don't dare type in all caps b/c they will delete you as fast as their major issue cropped up. But what can we expect from a free email company named "yahoo

I haven't been able to send attachments for awhile. Thought I'd be patient, and "it'd eventually" get straightened out. It hasn't. Sooooo, I make a Google Chrome account, and send my attachments through that account. You'd think Yahoo would resolve this issue if so many people are having problems. (?)

I can't load an attachment to Yahoo Mail from either my computer or my Dropbox account. I don't know why they make such a big deal about being the only one with an agreement with Dropbox. Of course, Yahoo has zero customer service.

Some problem here - attachments don't take.

I resolved this by opening a gMail account, until Yahoo! can sort out it's affairs.

Or maybe Yahoo! has a new "no attachments" policy that is being introduced secretly....

Same issue, been going on for months and months. Error message when I try to attach file. Am going to change email service as Yahoo obviously just don't care and are NOT going to do anything about it. Infuriating though!

I go to Compose. I write an email. I click on Attach Files. I find a file and attach it. Then there is no button to Send. Any button I click takes me back to square one. I am to be honest absolutely stupefied by this. How can I not find an easy-to-work out way of sending an email with a file attachment?

I'm having the same problem - can't even forward an email with attachments.

i had an attachment with just 3 .jpg's and i got an error from yahoo e mail and the delivery was refused. Apparently there is some unspecified memory limit on yahoo e mail. I sent the same post using my gmail account and it worked fine. The problem is with yahoo e mail - quite frankly it stinks compared with gmail.

Same problem, only with my desktop windows 7 (64-bit and 32-bit) on one IP. And I can send attachments through notebook and through mobile version, I've tried to log out on each account, deleted cookies but nothing helps.
