That was a REAL bad call. A LOT of drivers have said a lot worse.
If nascar thinks they are setting an example, ya gotta let the drivers know first?
This feels like someone changed the rules AFTER?
It is not fair to enforce rules differently. You lost a LOT of respect of a LOT fans today.
Do know who's going be the MOST pissed? The TV networks. Do you think that ANY driver will be honest, or give a good interview again? Don't count on it.
"I'm not going to say anything for the rest of the year, as long as it relates to competition," Hamlin said. "I mean, you can ask me how my daughter is, talk to me after wins about what have you, but as long as it relates to competition, I'm out from here on out. The down part is I feel like I've been a pretty good spokesman for them, and being positive when things aren't always positive. They just lost one small spokesman today, that's all."
read this line again.
"I'm not going to say anything for the rest of the year, as long as it relates to competition,"
Do really think that's what the networks want to hear? Or the Sponsors?
Get down on your hands and knees, and beg forgiveness, from EVERY driver out there.
It's DRIVERS that make the race.
It's the DRIVERS that are risking THEIR lives, and your probably not even watching the race.
JOE GIBBS, you are a man of strong convictions. Put your self out there,
Back up your driver.
ALL the team owners should be all over this,? AGAIN
"I'm not going to say anything for the rest of the year, as long as it relates to competition,"
And, you know, ALL the rest of the drivers are Thinking the same thing?
I'm not one of the conspiracy buffs, but you have just given them MORE fuel.
You helped my favorite driver, all time, Bobby Labonte.
I became a "Smoke" fan, when you brought him over from Indy.
NASCAR crossed the line on this one.
I think I'll find a new hobby for Sat, & Sun.
Would you like a muzzle with that sir?

I dont incredibly care about the game itself, in basic terms each and every thing that is going on around the game (party/nutrients, commercial, putting out with kinfolk/acquaintances). The very last large Bowl i idea became exciting became Panthers vs Patroits. the perfect score became NE 32, Carolina 29, which i found ironic. you note inspite of "29" Carolina became lacking "3". And NC being Dales living house and the position RCR is placed i found it amuzing in a sad way. also to Ty, i ought to fairly be sitting next to a rednack at a race than some fat guy which include his blouse off, that has too a lot decrease back hair and a letter painted on his fat gut and his face 2 different hues at a pastime.

Gave up on nascar years ago.
Switched to midgets and modified cars where they still have real racing. And they don't talk to you like they think your an idiot, like nascar does. Casey Kane, Tony Stewart, and I am sure a couple others own teams in this series.
Edit : several of the nascar drivers came from silver crown and dirt racing. Ryan Newman runs modifieds quite a bit.

They should care. Either way Nascar is clearly in the wrong here. I'm not at all big on Denny Hamlin but I'm on his side here. Nascar is a joke right now!

NASCAR had better care, it's FANS who put money in their pockets. The fine was STUPID, all Hamlin said was that the new car needed work, he is right..it needs a LOT of work.

with NASCAR acting so sensitive about the car- that means to be there is more problem with the car than is being told.
But then again if Junior had said anything about the car it would have been OK. I miss Jimmy Spencer.

There must be some serious problems with the Gen 6 cars.

I'm about done putting up with NASA CAR's communist crap. ARCA needs to step up and try to take the spot.
