Yes I do. My slippers are made of Australian sheep wool. They have a lining of soft - sheep shearling.

I have worn them daily for over 10 years.

They are the best thing for my terrible feet and are a must since I am diabetic.

I've not had any foot sores - since I started wearing them.

Well, certainly sweaters. A few years back I did a Scandinavian trip and bought a couple of heavy Winter sweaters in Norway and they were (and still are) beautiful. So yes, I still like wool. Mind you, come to think of it, lots of clothing items we used to wear that were wool have now been replaced with modern textiles. Gloves (thinsulite) 'Hoodies' which are 60% cotton and 40% polyester, and they tend to be more popular than woollen sweaters these days, woollen cardigans are out of fashion these days, balaclavas are also made like hoodies and not wool. Same with socks. The cotton and polyester combo' rules the market these days.

Good wool is usually expensive as far as winter clothing goes found certain synthetics better than wool for warmth and far less heavy. Still like cotton the best next to my skin.

other than someone giving me an old military wool blanket back in the early 1990's the other things that I owned that were wool were used back in the early 1980's. I'd begun to think they stopped making wool items.

I think I still have one old wool skirt, but I find wool much to itchy to deal with.

I live in ohio and it's cold here. I buy wool blends and wool cardigans that I can layer. By this time of year (March) I'm so sick of them I'd rather be cold. They make me itch so I have to wear cuddle duds or turtle necks underneath.

Wool makes me itch and feathers make me sneeze. Nothing was greeted with more joy by me than polypro and fleece.

Nope. I'll take cotton any old day.
