what is wrong with my sigma lens?

Hi recently purchesed sigma 17-50 f2.8 new for my D7000. It worked fine for few days but now autofocus is totally dead . So I can only shoot with manual focus. It has warranty but wan't to establish the fault before sending back to HongKong.Please help.

    Try removing the lens & putting it back on. Look to see if everything is clean. If this doesn't work , you'll have to send it back.

    A warranty should cover ANY defect in manufacture.

    FYI : never buy from outside of the country.

    I don't know why you bought a third party lens in the first place but let that be a lesson to you... always buy Nikkor lenses.
