What is the Gold and Silver ball in NY?
I live on the West Coast, and I know that it's an exclusive teenage socialite dance in New York, but does anyone have any other details, or know how I could get an invitation. I am in the social group, but as an outsider, not from NY or at a prep boarding school, I don't know how to make myself known. I would like to go.

The Gold and Silver Ball is a formal dance held each year in NYC. You must be a student in a private high school, or a private boarding school, in the New York area in order to attend. The invitation committee is made up of students from private schools and they choose the attendees from among students of other private schools only. They usually know, or at least are familiar with the names, of all who are invited.
There is simply no way to attend the ball unless you're in a private school in the NYC area.

Maybe a curled hair, with a pearl Barette, French braids are lovable. Or a half up half of down however, if you had really thick hair, ifpt may heavy or scorching and uncomfortable preserve the make-up simple. Maybe gentle red or nude lp gloss. Light red eyeshadow and lightweight, black eyeliner and mascara. Might be somewhat of crimson blush
