7x=81 does it equal 81/7 or 7/81?

    "It" equals 81/7, if you mean "x" by "it".

    You can solve 7x = 81 by dividing both sides by the same number, 7 in this case:

    Left side: 7x / 7 = (7/7) x = 1x = x.

    Right sidew: 81/7.

    Proof:

    7x=81

    Move 7 to the right hand side (it comes to the denominator)

    x =81/7

    x =11.5714285714

    Verification:

    7x=81

    Apply 11.5714285714 for x.

    7 x 11.5714285714 = 81

    It equals 81 / 7 , because you need to divide by 7 on both sides.

    here x=81/7...

    tip: treat ' = ' as a mirror, everything becomes opposite when we take it to other side of '=', if it is a divide sign on either side it will be a multiply sign on other side similarly a '+' will be ' - ' on other side.
