Table listed:
acid=HF Ka =6.8x10-^4 base=F- Kb=1.5x10^-11
Please help!
2) Table :
Given that Ka for HCN is 4.9x10^-10 and Kb for NH3 is 1.8x10^-5 caluclate Kb for CN- and Ka for NH4+

1) pKb = -log Kb = -log (1.5 x 10^-11) = 10.82
2) Kb CN- = Kw / Ka HCN = (1.0 x 10^-14) / (4.9 x 10^-10) = 2.0 x 10^-5
Ka NH4+ = Kw / Kb NH3 = (1.0 x 10^-14) / (1.8 x 10^-5) = 5.6 x 10^-10

a million. dissociation of NaOH: NaOH(s) + H2O ------------> Na+(aq) + OH-(aq) 2. Ionization of HCl: HCl(g) + H2O ---------> H3O+(aq) + Cl-(aq) NaOH dissociaes because of the fact it fairly is already ions interior the organic state: water helps the ions to chop up. HCl ionizes because of the fact interior the organic state it fairly is molecular and water pulls it aside into ions. It does not dissociate interior an identical experience NaOH does. HCl(aq) + NaOH(aaq) -----------> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)
