That was Mohammed revealing his pagan carnality.
The book “The History of Jihad” says that Islam was started by the Islamic prophet, Mohammed, who had worshipped many gods and goddesses, especially Venus, aka Astarte or Ashteroth, before becoming mono deist and switching to Allah (a pagan Arabian moon god associated with Ba’al.) He was self-appointed and this is why the First Pillar of Islam states ‘There is only one god, Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet’. There seems to have been no utterance on this by Allah so presumably he agreed.
Although Mohammed married a Christian woman, believed to be Mariya al-Qibtiyya (Maria the Copt), he was not converted to Christianity by her, as He did not believe in Jesus Christ and certainly not in the Holy Trinity, which is the fundamental belief of Christianity. He is reputed to have been a violent murderer, rapist, polygamist, and paedophile – also marrying a girl of nine, Aisha, daughter of Abu Bakr, and sleeping with her.
He did not seem to realise that next life will not be a continuation of this one, and as we will be immortal we will have different bodies. Since humans are mortal, we need sex to reproduce so that the species will continue. Spirits are sexless, since God can create them at will without any other help, thank you. The suggestion that there is provision to have a physical union with a woman in Heaven is as ridiculous as it was mistaken.

Do you really expect a definitive answer to that question? Or is it rhetorical?
