Evolution is always expansion into new. There is no road map created and to be followed. We are evolving god is evolving everything is evolving.

Perhaps God is the human name we give to the universe becoming conscious of itself? Whether that intelligence could kick-start or create another universe remains to be seen? I suspect not though.
