Can a landlord charge for this?

I live in a trailer park. The land lord said they are going to start charging a $25 fee for everytime they see a dog off leash in the park. Can they do that??

They can if it is off lease on their property, but not if on public property.

READ your lease, park rules, lot rent agreement

They cannot start charging it in middle of lease term, but if it's been part of terms and they weren't enforcing it, YES

It's against the law and inconsiderate to other tenants to let dogs run off lease

    They've given advance warning

Yes if that applies to the park and not to you specifically if a pet fee is not in your lease. They can change their policies but I think they have to give 30 days notice.

If both parties agree, if your lease has expired or you are on a month to month lease and with 30 days written notice.

If you don't agree, then you will need to move.

If they have a the authority to fine you for that particular reason then yes, but if they do not have authority then they can't do it because it is against the law.
