Sending money via paypal as a gift. Can they see my ebay activity?
I'd rather they not see that I buy nothing but action figures on ebay.

No, they cannot view your ebay account activities unless you gave them your password to your ebay account. When you send them money as a gift through PayPal, all they would see is your name, email, and how much money they received.
