Latin translation trouble?
Hi guys. I'm having trouble with one of my sentences that i have to translate for Latin homework:
'nolite, pueri,' inquit 'totam urbem tanti clamores excitare; celeriter intrate.'
Anybody know Latin ? lol

I have studied latin for 3 years. It means ''dont you know if you dont have a good answer dont respond to a homework question because your not helping!''.... oh i gave up on the rest lol

get the inquit out of the way first - he said:

so, the rest if it:
nolite excitare [remember excitare can mean 'wake up' as well as other things - are you checking this in your dictionary?]
totam urbem
so you've got that bit " nolite (don't) excitare totam urbem"
and how would they wake everyone up? Use common sense AND dictionary:
tanti clamores.
After shutting them up, what does he want them to do?
Intrate celeriter.
