how to know if a raid on your house is from real police?

Well, A police officer isn't going to enter your home on a warrant where he's kicking your door in alone. There is going to be at minimum half a dozen police officers there. It's kinda unlikely that a criminal would be able to convince 5+ people to go into this gig with him.

Secondly, unless it's a ridiculously serious offense, they're going to knock and announce themselves before making entry.. this gives you time to see who it is your dealing with. You'll be able to see patrol cars outside your home.

So the only chance this leaves, is if your police department mistakenly gathers a no knock warrant for your home and enters it. No knock warrants are pretty tough to get, and cops need to have their ducks in a row to get one. There isn't going to be a mistake about this.

However, in extremely rare cases, this can and has happened. Few years back in California, and FBI agent was killed in a no knock warrant by a gang that thought they were being burglarized by another rival gang. This never went to trial since the FBI's partners just ended up killing the gang member in the his home.

well first a police officer is not a government agent, second if they have a warrant and you refuse to let them in they can break the door down or break the window to get in and if you try even get near a gun they would shoot. and there would also obviously be a car outside.

Real cops are pretty easy to spot compared to fakes in uniform.\

It's all in the way they carry themselves.

cause a real cop would have you on the floor with an MP5 up your *** before you could even reach your gun. they have paperwork.
