Unknown Cation of a blue solid?

Unknown Cation of a blue solid?

The solid has SO4 2- as the anion. I dissolved the solid in D.I. water and added NH3. It turned dark blue. Is it CuSO4?

    Yes! Dark blue clear soln is the [Cu(NH3)4]2+ ion
