Ever consider the second typing of a Pokemon? Some Pokemon have two typings in the RPG but can only have one (with some exceptions) type in the TCG. Are any of the Pokemon you're looking at an Electric Pokemon that have a second typing that resists Steel?

Secondly, it could just be to balance the game or card.

Ugh, this is going to be messy.

-You said TCG. Why are you comparing to pokemon games? Pokemon games are not trading card games. It makes no sense to compare those two.

-Why are you comparing? Pokemon TCG and Pokemon Videos games are two different games. They each do different things, they are completely different. It doesn't make sense to compare them.

-Resistance does not mean immunity. It just means you take less damage.

-In the Pokemon TCG, the creators can make any Pokemon any type they want to. They've made a Metang into an Electric Type. It doesn't mean it's actually an Electric Type in the reality, just in the card game. This goes for all pokemon. They even make some pokemon dual types that aren't orignally dual types. There's a Jolteon that's both Metal and Electric in the TCG.

-DON'T COMPARE TWO GAMES THAT ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. They are not similar.
