Fantasy Baseball Trade: Advice?

I receive: Albert Pujols and Casey Janssen

I give up: Jose Bautista and Jim Johnson.

Seems pretty even to me.

    sounds awful

Pujols is 32 going on 47, and is having injury problems this spring.

Janssen may not even be the closer

Bautista is somewhat of a question mark, but even if he doesn't hit as many homers he will still get plenty of RBIs

Jim Johnson doesn't strike people out, but that is the only downside. he is the closer, will be the closer.

sounds fair from what you have given.

However, if he plays like how he did after may last season then you could end up winning this trade.

Pujols offers slightly more speed and a more consistent batting average to go along with the same power as Bautista. Jim Johnson and Casey Janssen are pretty much equal but watch Janssen closely as he just had shoulder surgery over the offseason.

Both Jose and Albert are really good, and I think you should do the trade, but first look at their stats from last year. I'm thinking Albert would be the better one for you though.

You win. Janssen is a good sleeper at the closer position this year.

What position do you need? If you have a surplus of OF and need a 1B, id go for it. If you need the OF help and have a good 1B, stick it out.
