Hydrocodones during pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I have just been diagnosed with kidney stones. I was hospitalized for a few days but today they sent me home with hydrocodones. I know he probably wouldn't have prescribed them if they weren't safe but I just feel so so guilty about taking them afraid they are hurting my baby but if I don't I'm in excruciating pain and I'm stressing myself out...has anyone had a baby after taking them and their baby turned out fine without withdrawals or problems?

Narcotics don't cause problems unless you take them for more than a week or two or if you take more than what was prescribed. Don't worry about it. Hang in there!

I am 28 weeks pregnant and in the same situation. I had kidney stones and was sent home with hydrocodone. I dont want to take them either. My back is killing me. I have been using the heating pad it works 80% but the pain comes back. I broke a pill in half and it didnt work. So i decided to take a whole pill but it only worked for 2 hrs. Then the pain comes right back. Massaging helps a little. I know it sucks. Im just trying to drink lots of water, and hot showers on ur back work. Sorry i know how u feel:( being a good mom makes u paranoid for our babies!
