Monitor no signal + fan spinning too fast?
Hey, something fairly weird happened.
My first problem is that when I attempt to turn my monitor on for some reason it decides to give me a no signal. The computer is on when doing this and I tested my monitor on another computer to see if the same problem persisted, it did not. This makes me assume there's a problem with the computer I am using, but it could be something else I'm unaware of.
The second problem is that my computer's (the same in the above situation that the monitor wouldn't work with) fan seems to be spinning too fast. I looked it up to see why and a lot of what i found seems to attribute it to overheating, but my computer doesn't feel heated/overheated. Others have said it could also be dust, but the computer is spotless. Other than that, I couldn't seem to find any helpful information.
I am in no way a computer expert, I'm novice at best so I could really utilize some assistance with the situation I am currently in. If there is any more information you need to assist me with my problem, I will attempt to edit my problem/add it to the details. Thanks in advance.
@Sam As an additional detail, my computer doesn't shut off when I hold down the power button on it. Should I unplug it?
@Everyone Also, is there a tutorial you could lead me to in order to take off the "front panel"/"Look inside my computer", I'm not exactly sure what that is/how to do it.

I am pretty much an expert and can guide you through this. Okay I want you to take off the front panel of the case so you can see the parts. Now turn the computer off. If it doesn't want to go, do a force shutdown by holding down the power button. After you have done this, unplug the power cable from the back of the PSU (or where the power cable originally does.) and shut off the PSU using the switch (if there is one). Then plug it back in and turn back on the PSU. Now, while looking at the internal components, attempt at turning it on. If anything obvious goes wrong, rip out the power cord. You might need to take it to a computer place is something is visible wrong.

Look inside your computer and there should be an aluminum 'heat sink'. It's a boxed shaped device with 'cooling fins'. On my computer this thing gets clogged up with dust. I take it out and clean it about every six months. When it's clogged the computer overheats and the fan runs all of the time.

Thats a bad sign it potential there is no administration on the processor. Yeah it wont warmth because of the fact the oscillator isn't working yet it is the end result no longer the reason. in case you questioning the motherboard no longer helping properly thats something you will possibly desire to be a hundred% earlier you initiate off putting issues jointly because it could injury if no longer and on no account run it and not employing a warmth sink. Pentium what ? if its old it became available to greater healthful a processor interior the incorrect slot that's perhaps what you have achieved or incorrect voltage jumper settings you had to correctly known what you have been doing then, it wasnt straightforward like it extremely is know.
