Surprise! It's a....?

All of my family live in GA. My husband, son, and I live in CA. On Tuesday we should be finding out the sex of our 2nd child, and since my mom hasn't been able to participate in this pregnancy she's been sorta down. I wanted to see if you guys like my idea to surprise her.

On Tuesday (if we do get to find out) I will call my mom and tell her that the baby wouldn't cooperate and we're just going to have to wait. Then I will send her a small box full of maybe white or yellow and green beads. I'll put either an extremely small blue or pink bottle inside (the kind used to decorate baby showers). I'll leave a little note on top with a catchy rhyme to the extent of search inside for a surprise. At the bottom of the box will be another note. "Congrats, grandma, feel free to tell anyone you please!"

Do you guys like my idea or is it corny?
