How was the Roman Empire destroyed by feminism?
This was never mentioned in my history books.
So - where does this insane idea come from?
Delphine: lol. No, one user blames feminism for all the world's ills and somehow we are to be responsible for a nuclear attack by Korea.
Well, Pretty - WWIII. Apparently.
Slab. Sorry, but I really need a better source of information - one, preferably, from someone who has credits to their name, and not the accreditations of a woman hating website. Though that was fun reading it.

no FEMINISM did not destroy the Roman Empire this is the silliest reason i have ever heard. 1 we will never be able to prove it even if it was destroyed because of that. with the simple fact that women were rarely written about in history (history is written by men) there is only a few accounts of were females had influence in Roman society (a good example is the lady of the laudarys in pompeii she was only famous because of how well she ran a bussines.) Rome was destroyed by men, it all started in 133bc with Tiberius Graccus a man who designed a bill that took land away from greedy men in the senate giving land back to Roman citizens allowing for its army to get bigger and bigger to the point where the senate could pay them. two men came along that were sworn enemies Sulla and Marius the both fought over being the Consul of the senate to the point were they were declaring each other an enemy of the state. ( before this Tiberius' brother Giaus came along and gave the Italians citizenship allowing them to be in the roman army but didnt give them a vote) pretty much it was up to the generals to pay their men with the spoils of war. famous war took place in the middle east where Sulla and Marius fought over it until Marius was defeated and went into hiding Sulla made a treaty and tried to restore the republic but it fell. none of these issues where ever truly fixed Rome when they couldnt win a war they would make dumb treaties with nations, they expanded too quickly and had too many incompetent first men of rome like Nero who stupidly burnt alot of rome to the ground.
all of this snow balled until the point where rome just lost control and the empire fell.
i see no input from any Feminism at all. Feminism is a modern by product of history. Seriously in all of my readings i havent heard of a female general in the roman army marching on the city state demanding a triumph. ive never even have heard of a female in the senate of rome so the answer is a fat no. the Roman Empire was destroyed by men and men only with the choices that were made in the past and by the actions taken.

Because it didn't happen. Feminism wasn't created till around the early 20th century. What destroyed the Roman Empire was slavery and laziness. Romans lost their edge because they let other people take care of them. The Germanic tribes came in and slaughter them a little by little till finally the empire was split in half. The western empire lingered then finally died. The eastern empire, with the capital at Constantinople regained its footing for a time but it latter withered away too.
So to recap stop blaming feminism for stupid things. Slavery, laziness, and Aragance killed the Romans.

It wasn't. It was destroyed by a very complex combination of economic troubles, Hunnic invasion, and the German Migration Period which was driven by the Hunnic invasions.
Roman women enjoyed very limited rights in general. Patricians wives were better off than most Victorian Era women, but I don't think anything at the time can truly be described as feminist.

And also there's no way feminism can be sustained in a non-first world country. It is safe to say that feminism is the parasite of the modernization as argued here,

Search for Prof. Warren Farrell lectures, he used to be a main feminist during the 2nd wave and also Dr. Janice Fiamengo lectures. Many research about of this topic is suppressed and I guess you and I know why.

Don't worry, a certain user (who may even have answered here) told me feminism caused the recession and has bankrupted the West LOL.
Didn't know I had so much power.
I am wondering what else we are to be blamed for?
