Has anyone tried Douxo shampoo?

on their dog? I have tried a gazillion different kind of soap free shampoo and oatmeal and vinegar and what have you on my smelly mutt. Even the vet didn't recommend anything that worked. The humane society uses this stuff and I read some reviews on it and it seems to work well on yeasty dogs. Any luck?

Update:

He has chronic yeast infections and allergies. I know what's wrong with him.

Update 2:

It's the one that contains an antiseptic and climbazole. Not for Seborrhea

Update 3:

Good God Nerdee if I sprayed this dog with Febreze his skin would weep.

Douxo makes good products but they make more than one kind of shampoo. If your dog has seborrhea or some other problem, most vets will recommend a shampoo and keep them in stock for clients that need them.

I usually tell people to get that first bottle of prescription shampoo from the vet, then see what the effective ingredients are and find a comparable shampoo at Amazon.com. You can buy shampoos of the same strength, with the same ingredients, without a prescription, online.

But getting back to YOUR dog, do you even know what the dog's problem is? Once you know what the dog has, you can find a shampoo for it but it's better (and less confusing and time-consuming) to get the first one from the vet, so you KNOW what to look for.

Can't you just spray him with Febreze? That's what I do to bf when he reeks of pot and day old Jack.
