The Army cares for all the military animals. Unfortunately 68T is a small MOS and might be hard to get into.
From the little time I got to spend with the 68T I learned that they do normal vet tech clinical duties. Though, it does depened on where you are stationed at.
They see patients, clean teeth, monitor the patient during surgery, prep for surgery, draw blood, restrain the animals, give shots, take x-rays, restock supplies, assist the Veterinarian, etc. They also give classes to the MPs on basic care of their dogs.
When deployed they provide medical care for the military dogs. They might also provide care to the local livestock.
It will depend on where you work at. You may be in a small clinic and see military dogs and family pets or you may care for for military animals exclusively. I think there's even a chance that you will care for laboratory animal or marine mammals.
