Army MP or Air Force Security Forces?
Which is an overall better job taking into consideration Deployment rate, Quality of Life (i.e Food, Living conditions, recreation, ect), Extended training opportunities (Airborne, Air Assault, ect), Education opportunities, and anything else you can think of. I'm a junior in high school and I'm prepared to enlist in April and I've narrowed down my choice of service/job to these to. My Asvab score was a 76 so that's not a problem and I'm in great physical shape so that's not a hindrance either. Also I'd really like to go to Jump school so I'd like to know if AF guys are eligible to do that as well. Please dont give me any biased answers, I just want the facts here
Oh and I'd also like to know about the difference in rate of promotion for both branches

The two jobs are incredibly similar. Naturally, the Air Force has better living conditions during off-duty, but there are some important differences.
In the Army, your duties are primarily based on your unit assignment. If you are assigned to a Physical Security unit, your job will focus on limiting access to sensitive areas (nuclear/chemical storage facilities are examples of this). If you are assigned to a Division MP unit, you can expect to rotate law enforcement and training for the field. There are still a few exclusively law enforcement assignments, Fort Irwin being one example, along with some overseas assignments.
In the Air Force, Security Forces perform law enforcement, security, and field training all in the same unit, regardless of assignment. Security Forces are the Air Base Ground Defenders, and are essentially the Air Force's Infantry during deployment. In peacetime, your job can rotate. You may pull law enforcement or security as needed. You will also need to occasionally train for the Defender role.
The Army and Air Force both use the same weaponry/equipment for the most part, and both deploy, so that isn't much of an issue. You will find things that you love and hate about both. But if you want the experience, it is highly rewarding overall.
EDIT for Keith: MP's can and do go to Jump School. It's even an option for enlistment. I've known more than my fair share of MP's wearing Jump Wings.
EDIT #2: The Army promotes faster than the Air Force, because it is the larger service. Larger = more opportunities.

USAF SF trains each and every of the K9 handlers from each and every branch so i might say circulate SF. They for sure have the perfect application. in spite of the undeniable fact that that's gonna be a pair years in any branch earlier you're able to nicely be a dogs handler. that's not an get entry to point interest.
