Which do you mostly prefer: live albums or studio albums?

More of a survey than an actual question, but I would like your opinion on it.

I prefer studio albums, you get the music the way the band intended it to be heard without the imperfection the live album would have. I also don't like the in between introduction of songs. Don't get me wrong I like live albums, you get to hear what a band is like live and some bands only do somethings live (guitar solos and other things), and the audience also adds some things to the album. But if I want live I'll just go buy a DVD.

Usually studio albums as they seem to have better audio pickup & recording.

Although on occasion there have been a few live albums that seemed to me to be better & had real good recording.

A few live albums I like are The Allman Brothers (at the Fillmore East 1969), Gentle Giant live album, Caravan at Fairfield Hall(1974 London), Supertramp live (1976 in Cleveland).

Live Albums... There is no other way. Far better than Studio Albums.

Studio albums. Live albums always end up sounding terrible.

Depends how good the live performance was but I'd prefer studio most of the time.
