Can I remove (uninstall) Updates and Security Updates from 2 and 3 years back?

I am looking for ways to speed up my computer. If I "remove" old Windows XP and Security Updates, will my computer still run properly? When I click on "remove", I get the message saying it may not run properly. Do the latest updates replace the older ones?

That's not a good idea at all. You can tweak XP and it may be faster than it ever was. Here's a good free tool. Just take a little time to learn all the different things it does. Make before you do any tweaking that you use the Registy back up tool that comes with it.
