outboard prop to jet conversion help?
I have a 90hp Nissan outboard that I want to convert to a jet pump that came with it. My question is do I have to buy an extension for the F/N/R controls? do they make them? Or will the existing controls work as they are.

Bravoco,go to the Nissan website in Japan and give them serial# of engine you desire to convert. From that serial number they'll generate a proper recommendation. Asked Yanmar if could convert a turbo driven engine to conventional and they required engine serial# to insure correct recommendation was generated.
