Wasn't it like a perfect Test match?
-With Aussies expected to do well at this ground, it was a much awaited Test Match.
-Day 1 washed out.
-Aussies off to a good start.
-Middle order collapse.
-Smith and Starc to the rescue. Aussie post 408.
-India off to flyer. Shikhar Dhawan makes new records.
-Middle order collapses as soon as the new ball is taken.
-Aussies collapse again, Hughes the walking batsman plays a good knock.
-Last session, last day, a tough chase for India but India wins.
Though the first day was washed out, it still sounds so perfect isn't?
BQ: Did the Aussies really deserve those praises for an improved show?
My say is, they fell to spinners on a track where the spinners weren't expected to bowl as well. No praises.

Haha I like your BQ. Australia were very close to draw this but couldn't. In the hindsight, they actually lost the match comfortably in 4 days. But they did come up with a better performance.
Regarding perfect test, nothing beats the Kolkata 2001, lol.
Regards.

India had a near perfect match after Australia's first innings batting,i thought it was good first innings from Aussies but India scored so fast thanks to Dhawan and co and Australia's second innings capitulation that happened so quickly on the last day cannot be explained even by Ian Chappell.Batting for India clicked so well in this series, they had a near perfect match.Australia should've drawn this match but they ended up losing on the last day thanks to some poor batting in second innings.

Yes indeed a perfect test match ended today despite the fact that it was minnow Bangladesh vs SL.
-SL won the toss and elected to field.
-Bangladesh scored 240 which was not a very good score.
-Herath once again took 5 fur.
-SL came in to bat looking for a massive lead
-But things got really interesting when the lost 4 for 69!
-Sanga and Chandimal made a terrific recovery with 195 run partnership..
-But Bangla pulled the things back to restrict SL for 346.
-Bangladeshi openers looked threatening with 91 run partnership
-Looked like they were really pushing hard at Lankans by hanging in there
-But Herath once again went through their defense and destroyed innings.
-And SL finally got home with 7 wicket win
-Not in a convincing manner but pretty comfortably I must say.
-Finally Bangladeshi fans woke up from the white wash dream.
-Birthday boy Herath won the MoM award.
BQ:- Yes Bangladesh really deserves to be praised for an improved show which is far better from the real standards!

More than a perfect test match indeed.
Except Starc and Siddle, none Aussie cricketer deserves praises to be honest.

As I said yesterday, though their bowlers got some swing at the latter stages of the play, they won’t be able to come up with any decent performance in Delhi. It was the Indian batsmen being too casual that made the bowlers look like bowling good balls. As for you saying they faltered against spin in a pacer friendly conditions, I sort of agree with you. Its all in their minds.

Siddle should be dropped for taking Indian wickets like he did. Another 2hrs batting from the Indians could have saved the match.Bloody glory hunter! lololol Isn't it?
