I notice similarities between socialism and islam and i see spirituality in the teachings of sufism. I plan to revive a positive new brand of islam which would include some gnostic and tantric elements. I am by the way a Sikh and my life changed when i had a sort of out of body experience and encounter with a spirit which commanded me to do as it say or face the fate. i was scared at first and even hospitalized but later on a series of more encounters spanning few years (the first was in dec. 2012) literally guided me this time indirectly (so i was less scared) but still knew some entity was constantly watching over me. I followed the given hints that universe (or God?) was giving me like random cards of decks (5 of clubs) while jogging in park, then few months later jack of hearts outside a mall, then 10 of diamonds outside a temple. I come across a muslim mystic (green clothes) walking near a shrine and he told me you are the special one. I know its weird but that was not it, the characters on TV start giving me subliminal messages (hard to explain this one) And as a result of this i tried meditation i started collecting spiritual books, the holy Quran and start learning arabic. I feel i am in the process of becoming the prophesized messiah even though i tried to distract myself by getting a job and reading books. even got inspired by history of Imam Ali BUT this thought has kept stuck in my mind from last 3 years i dont know should i seek help or try find a spiriual mentor

Aurangzeb is well respected by most sub continent muslims and considered a DEVOUT and LOYAL follower if Islam throughout his life.

So is breaking oaths acceptable in your religion?
