Best Beaches in Louisiana?

Can somebody give me an idea of the best beaches in Louisiana. I am currently stationed in Fort Polk, and I am really don't mind driving the distance to go to the Ocean and be in the water. Can anyone give me an idea of the best places to go?

    Most of the Louisiana coastline is either Mississippi River delta or it is a swamp or wetland of some sort. No real beaches exist in Louisiana.

    From Fort Polk your best bet is to head to the Texas Gulf Coast.

    there is beaches in Louisiana. have you ever heard to Grand Isle? it extremely is approximately 60 miles south of latest Orleans. no longer that great of a sea coast. it is the only place i'm able to think of of nevertheless.
