Is 25 years old Koodankulam reactor is safe?

Since 1988 Koodankulam is under construction. After 25 years I am doubting of the security measures at Koodankulam. Is there any well known person around the world can answer this, I will be happy.

    Yes it is perfectly safe. A bunch of NGOs used foreign funds to fuel a bunch of protests by "rent-a hippie" protesters.
