Are there dangerous parts on the Trans Zion Trail - Zion National Park?
Are there 'dangerous' parts, like short parts with steep drops on the Trans Zion Trail ?
I ask this because my girlfriend gets really scary when we go hiking and it becomes like that.
I'm fine with it, I love hiking and trekking, I've been doing it all my life, she loves it too but gets scared when it gets like this.
If yes, what would you recommend to help her overcome her stress ?
Thanks
PS: I know about Angel's Landing, but we don't have to go through it on the Trans Zion Trail.

Fear of heights can be healthy. Slip and fall is a leading cause of death for hikers. Your girlfriend's response to potentially life-threatening conditions may be reasonable. When I look down a thousand feet or more from a perch on a narrow ledge where my handholds can be pulled away from the rock wall above me, I get "really scary," too.
"Park official warn visitors that many trails in the park are strenuous and can be dangerous and should not be underestimated. Good planning, proper equipment, and sound judgment are essential for a safe and successful trip. Hikers should know their abilities and not overextend themselves."
You are correct about the hazards on Angel's Landing:
"According to the park's Web site, five other people have died while hiking Angels Landing since July 2006. The hike is described as strenuous with steep trails that provide hikers with 'spectacular views of Zion Canyon.'"

There is not much you can doo to change your GF it's all in her head and going to extremes more often will soften her fears over time as long as she can trust you, doing the scary just for the adrenalin rush is not where she is at obviously only time will improve that.

Yes, there are dangers for this type of trip. This is NOT a beginners hike. This a back country largely non-maintained trail with NO conveniences. That means, no cell phone service, no internet, no ambulances, no water, no toilets. Just what you bring with you and you pack out what you bring in.
You need permits too.
