What degree do Construction Project Managers hold?
I have a Bachelors degree in Business and Human Resource Management, now I want to pursue a Masters degree in Project Management. Will my degree be able to enter me into the Construction Project Management field?
P.S. Please don't talk about work experience now, as I'm just concerned about the educational aspect for this field at the moment.

YES the perfect question! I just happen to be a construction manager, with a bachelor's in construction management.
You might be in luck my friend. Don't listen to the other guy about getting a masters in CM, and don't worry about a master's at all for that matter.
The construction management degree is relatively new, and has only been around for the past 15 - 20 years or so. The first construction managers had degrees in one of three areas. Either engineering, architecture, or business. And I happen to know many young people who work as CMs and have their degrees in business. So further college might not be necessary. But you do need to know a little about construction to get your foot into the door.
The typical entry level position for a career in construction management is called Project Engineer. Duties include submittal management, RFI management, quantity takeoffs, some scheduling, some site supervising (the night shift, or weekend shifts), closeout documents, some change order management. Or you could be put in the office and assist the estimators as a project engineer.
If you still feel that you need education in construction, go back to the college you got your business degree from, and take the required classes to get a second major or minor in CM (assuming they offer such a program). Or go to some of the professional development classes put on by the AGC (Associated General Contractors), ABC (Associated Building Contractors), or other local associations. This will also help you network and meet people in the industry, and networking is key in construction. These associations are also a good way to find construction companies to send resumes too!
Check out some of my source's, they might help. Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions.

Mostly, they require a degree in civil engineering but many also accept a degree in construction management.
So, if you want to become a construction project manager, I think you should do your masters in construction management.
A project management degree will get you project management jobs in coroprate.
Even without that, you can easily get a job in human resources.
Good luck :)
