At what age would you say facial hair can be grown, and look good?

Ok, a little back info first.

I'm a 15 year old male, big for my age, and look like I'm a bit older. I can pass for 16-17 a lot of the time.

Now, my facial hair grows fast enough, that if I don't shave for a day or two, my friends start to notice. I was told a while ago, that if you "Aren't shaving every day out of necessity, then you probably won't look good with facial hair" on Y!A.

So, at what age/stage would you say that a teen can grow facial hair, and have it look alright? I honestly think that I could grow some facial hair, but I was wondering what you guys thought?

Thanks.

Update:

Ok, Y!A suggested this category, and I didn't pay enough attention. So apologies if this is in the wrong place.

On the same note, let's see how this pans out...

Update 2:

Minor detail:

I started shaving somewhere in year 7 or 8, and am in year 10 now. At first, it was once per week, it's gotten to the point where if it's not shaven every day or two, then it will start to get scruffy/messy. I really want to add that fact, because I appear to have started growing facial hair sooner than others.
