Should I drop school or go through a year of pain?
So.. I've been worrying lately about school.
I'm not doing well. I'm not doing homework, assignments, assessments, I can't sleep well because of all this stress, which gives me no choice but to feel sleepy during class times which is even worse since I should be concentrating and paying attention to take in all the information.
I've acquired a qualification that's enough for me to into jobs but I still want to become a counselor or therapist because i love listening to people with problems and helping them out.
This seems impossible for me atm since I will need to gain the qualification this year. tbh, i really don't think i'll be able to pass exams this year for the qualifications at this rate. I don't think i'll be changing "my ways" any time soon either..
I really want to get a decent job that will help me through my life until I get married and all that. I just want to live in a happy family.
But having to go through all this stress is painful for me..
Something might help me realise what a sh** life i'm living but right now I'm just doing nothing to change myself.
I don't know anything about my class subjects anymore. I've already missed a lot of classes (due to sickness and lack of sleep) and I don't think I will be able to catch up any time soon since I was already lost in my classes even if I attended school.
Even if i do continue school, i'm going to fail the final exams and I won't be able to gain the qualification..Which means that it was a waste of a year..
Should I just try to "change my ways" and study (which is highly unlikely atm)
or should I just drop school, and see what happens? get a job? get some work experience? find out what i really want to do and get some motivation?

Why don't you try first? At least you can tell yourself you 'did your best' 20 years from now.
Get motivated!! Exercise! If being a counsellor is your dream then do something! The world isn't going to do it for you!! Counseling is a great job btw :)
try. your. best.
no regrets!

Stress is a part of life. Learn to deal with it and adjust to it. It will NEVER go away, especially not in the working world.
