What are some good premium TV shows? Like Dexter, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, etc...?

In the past 5 years, I have rekindled my relationship with television. TV is so much better than it used to be. Of course parts of it are worse than ever (Reality shows). But premium TV is at its highest point.

What great TV shows am I not watching? I'm looking for shows that are more like really long movies rather than shows that feel like TV shows.

Here's a list of shows I've watched and loved:

- Breaking Bad

- Dexter

- The Walking Dead

- Game of Thrones

- Sherlock

- Deadwood

- Homeland

- Boardwalk Empire

- The Sopranos

- The Wire

- Fringe

- Lie To Me

- 24

- Rome

- Spartacus

- House (Last 2 seasons sucked)

- Lost (Gradually got worse, but started out pretty good)

Shows I think are okay, but could be better:

- The Mentalist

- Suits

- Last Resort

- True Blood

- Person of Interest

- Burn Notice

- Sons of Anarchy

- Jericho

Shows I'm not interested in:

- Castle - (I've only seen 1 1/2 episodes, but the characters are hard to relate to. This show feels too much like a ....TV show. But maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.)

- Monk - This show was just too predictable. Plus the mystery that kept me watching turned out to be incredibly lame.

- Oz - I tried really hard to like this show, but after 5 episodes, I just gave up.

- Criminal Minds - I just started watching this show a month ago. I watched about 7 episodes, and that was it for me. The show has feels redundant, the characters are poorly written, and it seems recycled. It's too predictable.

- Elementary - This show tried to ruin Sherlock Holmes for me. Nothing about this show reminds me of Sherlock Holmes.

Any suggestions?

These are my favorite Drama T.V. Shows that I recommend for you to watch: *Available on Netflix

The Vampire Diaries* - About a girl named Elena Gilbert, and these two vampire brothers named Stefan and Damon Salvatore, who are in love with her. Their's no other way for me to describe it, other then being just amazing. Vampires, werewolves, witches, hybrids, and doppelgangers are involved. And they all live in a fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. This T.V. series is based on the books by L.J. Smith, but they don't follow the book very often. Great show! :) This show has four seasons so far (but only three on Netflix), and it's already been confirmed they're making a fifth season! :D

Alias* - About a women named Sydney Bristow, who thinks she's working for the CIA, but she's actually working for a government agency called SD-6, an agency the CIA is against. After realizing that, she does everything in her power to go against them for murdering her fiance. This is the most action packed show I've ever seen in my life, and it's just amazing! It makes me so addicted, that I literally scream to watch the next episode (because a lot of them end in cliff hangers). Oh, and I've never cried so much for a show in my whole entire life, so that definitely says something. I definitely recommend it! :D This show ended after five seasons, but it was amazing! Also, the creator of "Lost", J.J. Abrams, is the creator of this show as well. ;D That should tell you how good this show is.

Kyle XY* - About a very unique boy named Kyle, who awakes in the middle of nowhere, with no belly button. He's taken in by a loving family, who help him figure out who he is and help recover his memories. It's a very great show, and makes you realize how much family means to others. This show only went on for three seasons, but was definitely worth watching! :)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer* - About a girl named Buffy Summers, who is a vampire slayer, and you see her experience through slaying vampires her whole life. It's one of the best shows in television history, and I would recommend it for anyone! Vampires, werewolves, witches, you name it. All kinds of demons are involved! They all live in a fictional town called Sunnydale. This show ended after seven seasons.

Roswell* - About a girl named Liz Parker who falls in love with an alien named Max Evans, who acts like a human, and has a normal life with his family. You see the aliens trying to find out where they're from, who their real family are, etc. It's a deep show, and I've seen the whole series multiple times, I can't get over it. I believe it's one of the best shows I've ever seen, and that anyone can watch it. :) This show ended after three reasons, but it's definitely worth watching. And obviously, they all live in Roswell, New Mexico. :D

Firefly* - About a group of people who live on a firefly spaceship named Serenity, and do jobs for people, like steal goods, etc. It's a space western show, and is set in the future. You get to learn about each character, and it's just a deep show that makes you want to cry at times. Sadly, it was canceled after their first season. They couldn't even finish the season, they only had fourteen episodes. I know you may be thinking, why should I watch this show if it only lasted a season? But I have to say, I never regretted it once. It's an amazing show that deserves to be watched.

Revenge - About a woman named Emily Thorne (birth name Amanda Clarke), who tries to get revenge on a family named the Graysons, for taking advantage of her father, David Clarke, and having him killed. It's a really great show, and makes you want to watch the next episode right away! :D This show has two seasons so far.

The Following - About a serial killer named Joe Carroll, who enjoyed murdering young women in the gothic hero's honor, but then got caught. He spent hours in the prison library on the Internet, building a network of copycat killers who hang onto his every command (basically, a cult). He escaped prison with the help of his followers. Now, a former FBI agent, Ryan Hardy, who brought Joe down the first time, has to consult on the case again. It's a very suspenseful show, and makes you bite your nails and get goosebumps. :D This show is currently on its first season, and it's already been confirmed they're making a second season! :D

    Hope this helped! :)

Haven - its a mix between xfiles and fringe its pretty good (its on netflix instant) and its written by stephen king

House of cards- its a political drama that shows all the backstabbing, lying, wheeling and dealing that goes on in capital hill and a great performance by kevin spacey the 1st season was amazing (its only exclusive to netflix instant)

Orange is the new Black - made by the creator of Weeds(another great comedy) ....another netflix instant exclusive

Last resort - It really pissed me off when nbc canceled this show mid season it was one of the best shows ive watched and it really is like a long movie. Its about a captain of a nuclear sub refusing to launch an nuke on a country and now is perceived as a terrorist by the US...this show was getting real good then nbc announced midseason that they would not be renewing it so the last 2 episodes will feel rushed but they writers still ended it well

Continuum - its an okay show its about a cop from 2077 that gets stuck back in 2012 (its on netflix instant)

Warehouse 13 - starts out slow but the last 2 seasons it has been getting pretty good its another one of those xfiles type clone shows with alot of paranormal stuff but its good (its on netflix instant)

Under the dome - just finished watching the 1st season and i cant wait for the next season its really good. Its about a small town that somehow gets trapped under a huge transparent dome....its written by JJ Abrams (lost, fringe)

Well if you have seen all those series, you will be pretty good covered when the season starts. Then again if you got my problem then will need a couple more ;)

    - Shameless, and there is really only one, is very entertaining no matter what kinda person you are. (US that is of course) This series is about a big ****** up family, slumming and only barley holding it together. Its funny and there are some great characters in this show, ******* loved it.

    - I also see that you haven't seen entourage- this show will let you kinda live out your childhood dreams (still dreams, i dunno) of becoming a world ******* famous actor. The main characters are childhood friends who grew up kinda poor, now they live like kings in LA, smoking, drinking and picking up girls. HIGHLY addictive!

And then of course you got the new one's, true detective, fargo and all that crazy ****. I don't even know if you'l read this, so I won't bother write up more. BUT if you do like or write back Il give you at least 5 more of my mind in a couple seconds.

If you’re supplementing, the vitamins and minerals most likely to rev up your metabolic engine are N complex, magnesium, copper, selenium, chromium as well as manganese. But don’t overdo the idea, find foods that are rich options for each. Nuts and seeds in a very small handful are perfect, affirms Stephanie Karl, Nutritionalist at this Dubai London Clinic.

Find an alternative stress-reliever. When you’ve had a negative day, don’t reach for the doughnuts – discover a new coping mechanism that works for you personally, not against you. Listening to your favourite album, looking at family pics on Facebook, or just getting out of the house for a walk will provide help to focus on the positives.

You have almost all of the good ones there: "Game of Thrones", "Dexter", "Homeland", "Boardwalk Empire", "Sherlock"...

The only good one you missed, that I can recommend, is "Magic City" (on the same Starz channel as "Spartacus"). It's similar to "Boardwalk Empire", but set in a different era: the early 1960's in Miami, around the time of the Kennedy assassination and the Cuban crisis, following the exploits of a mobbed-up guy who runs a luxury resort in Miami Beach. It's not as great as "Boardwalk Empire", but it's good, and it has the same glossy mix of sex, violence and high production values.

The second season is about to start (this Summer) , so you could start watching the first season now in preparation.
