Skype problems - other person cannot hear me?

Hi

The volume on Skype does not work properly, so I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me.

The other person has checked the sound from their end.

Any ideas? Please help.

    Hey pip 34,

    Check your Mic is being registered by the PC. Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Sound, then press the Recording tab. If you don't see your Mic its a driver error but if you do then make sure its is enabled and not grayed out. If all that is good right click and select properties then go to the Levels tab and make sure it is turned up to 100. Hope this helped :)
