    Can't tell if you mean 3√y² or ∛y².

    General rules:

     log(ab) = log(a) + log(b)

     log(aⁿ) = n·log(a)

    log₃(x¹³∛y²) = log₃(x¹³) + log₃(∛y²)

          = log₃(x/1/3) + log₃((y²)^(1/3))

          = 13log₃(x) + (2/3)log₃(y)
