Writing a song i have questions?
1. how do i come up with a tune, cause when i do its just plain and boreing
2. can i use well know phrases in it e.g. loved you once, loved you still, always have, always will' or is it cheating lol
and any tips for makeing up oiano and guitar for it aswell? thanks

1. don't focus on the tune too much, make it simple, when the chorus is made up, you can make the tune more complex
2. you should'nt use generic phrases because it's not creative, try to be original, don't think too much in it, just write from your heart, personal experiences, or even make up an interesting story!!
3. I don't play an instrument very well but, if you play the piano, use only a few simple notes when you're starting out!!
