How many books do you read?
I'm curious, state your religious beliefs and then how many different books you think you read in the average year. If you read your religious book 6 times a year that still only counts as one book and the bible only counts as one book, you don't get one each for The book of Mark, The book of Luke etc..
I'll go first. I'm an atheist and I probably read around 60 books a year.
@ ANDRE L: I used to read that many books a year, but just don't have quite as much time as I used to. I don't know exactly how many books I have, but between my roommates and I we have 4 floor to ceiling bookshelves that are 3.5 feet wide stacked 4 deep with paperbacks and another 4 filled with hardbacks, and we still have boxes of books packed from our last move we can't fit on the shelves. Isn't it so much fun when you have to move and pack them all.

I read about 5-25 books a year. Most of the books I read are religious or based on history. I try to read books with a lot substance and these are often large tombs. For example this year I plan on reading "The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" By: Gibbons. It's small print and nearly 1,500 pages!

Around 50 - 70 books a year. I love philosophy and psychology and since I do not have money to go and study them I read free books from libraries/internet. Also some novels once in a while...
I do not like to classify myself as one particular religion, I think it's silly. All tho I am spiritual and believe there is a higher being.

I am Catholic and I have no idea how many books I read in a year. They are mostly about the Church, though, with the occasional excursion into popular science or history.
