Christians, what proof is there of Intelligent Design?

Here is a mathematical proof of the existence of God beyond a reasonable doubt:

A universe in which life has a chance to exist can only happen in where a couple of dozen universal constants coincide, including:

+ Minimum interval of space

+ Minimum unit of time

+ Planck's Constant

+ Maximum velocity

+ Gravitational Attraction Constant

+ Weak Force Coupling Constant

+ Strong Nuclear Force Coupling Constant

+ Rest Mass of a Proton

+ Rest Mass of an Electron

+ Electron or Proton Unit Charge

+ Minimum Mass of the Universe

+ Total Visible Rest Mass

+ Boltzmann's Constant

+ Hubble Constant

+ Cosmological Constant

+ Cosmic Proton/Photon Ratio

+ Permittivity of Free Space

+ Electromagnetic Fine-Structure Constant

+ Weak Fine-Structure Constant

+ Gravitational Fine-Structure Constant

A couple of percent difference in any one of these constants would make the universe completely uninhabitable. Roger Penrose, a peer of Hawking, calculated that the chance of a universe capable of supporting life as we know it as one part in 10 raised to the power of 10 raised to the power of 123.

This fine tuning of the universe, while not an absolute proof of God, can be used to help prove the existence of God beyond a reasonable doubt (which is my claim).

No proof.

Then again, strictly speaking, there is no proof of dinosaurs. Just mountains and mountains of evidence. Proof only exists in mathematics.

Statistically, random evolution is vanishingly improbable. Taking observed rates of mutation, and the probability that any of those mutations is going to be beneficial, it ought to have taken trillions of years for evolution to reach the point that it has. Clearly, it didn't take that long. One possible explanation for that is an outside force guiding the evolutionary process to make it go faster--in other words, Intelligent Design.

But I repeat, this is not proof. It is not impossible that evolution happened by chance, just as it is not impossible to flip a fair coin a thousand times and have it come up heads every time. It is simply highly unlikely.

Did someone really answer irreducible complexity?

Irreducible complexity is at its core an argument against evolution. If truly irreducible systems are found, the argument goes, then intelligent design must be the correct explanation for their existence. However, this conclusion is based on the assumption that current evolutionary theory and intelligent design are the only two valid models to explain life, a false dilemma.

First of all, there is a problem with that word "proof." As Dr. John Lennox said in his debate with Dr. Richard Dawkins, “Of course, we do not speak of ‘proof.’ You only get proof, in the strict sense, in my own field of mathematics. But, in every other field, including science, we can’t speak of proof—we can speak of evidence, of pointers, of being convinced beyond reasonable doubt” (The God Delusion Debate).

What proof of abiogenesis is there?

No one has ever been able to create life from nothing... so there had to be something that made life happen.

Until we figure this out, Intelligent Design or Creation is still an option imo.

But, the real question is designed or created by what...

Intelligent Design is just a lame attempt to rationalize creation in a way that sounds almost scientific.

Why are you asking Christians this? I don't know of any Christian who believes in intelligent design, most of them think it's just daft and that evolution and Christianity are quite compatible. There is no proof of intelligent design, nor is there any evidence to support it. There is a ton of evidence to support the theory of evolution.

Christianity is not the only religion.

Well I THINK if you can say nothing bought about all life from nothing, for no reason or purpose. I think we can say God bought it about, for His reasons and purposes because He loves to create.
