It would help to know your age.
I ask your age because you seem to think bisexuality entitles you act on whims of attraction.
We are all fleetingly attracted to any number of people each day, men and women.
What separates the children (who only understand immediate gratification) from the adults is the understanding that not all attractions must be acted upon. Adults are (hopefully) able to see there are consequences to their actions, to the choices they make.
Regarding the events you describe, for your boyfriend, he might have seen the encounter as just cheating -- it doesn't matter so much as with whom you stepped outside the bounds of your relationship. A cheat is a cheat is a cheat.
If you want to be in a committed relationship, then you must decide to change your behavior and to be accountable for the choices you make. What does committment mean to you? Are you too young to tie yourself to one person? Claiming to be bisexual does not give you license to hook up and then declare it's OK. Infidelity is never OK, no matter if you're gay, straight or undecided.
Just keep in mind relationships are not all about you; the other party's feelings and needs must also factor into the decision making.
