Help with building a sub box?
I am bulding a sub box for 2 10 inch subwoofers that are going to go in a single cab isuzu pickup truck the demenions are 13.5 inchs hight 15.25 inches length and 8 inchs deep surface area is 871.75 inchs squared i believe is correct. I have it all planed out and everything except for one part and thats the thickness of the wood that is going to be used. what thickness do you guys perfurre to someone who is making there own box?

Is The box going to be Ported or Sealed? If you are going to do a sealed box I would go with 3/4"MDF, If it is ported then 1/2" MDF.

3/4 inch mdf is the most popular size wood. i have used hdf, and marine grade plywood also, but the cost goes up...
