I want to trade in my old iPod?
Hi, I have a 4 year old 8GB iPod, it's still in good condition. I paid 400 dollars for it when it first came out at Future Shop. How much is it worth if I trade it in? I'm thinking about buying a iPad mini.

Think of what you should get for it and divide that number in half. If you go to one of those stores that offers trade-ins you will get ripped off big time. You could try selling it online and you might get 50 or 60 for it, but still not much. It might be better to just give it as a gift to a friend or sibling who doesn't have one. At least you will earn brownie points with that person :)

it's really a matter of who it's being sold to, if someone is just looking for a music player but on a budget, you may be able to sell it but considering todays technology 4 years is a long time, someone can easily find a music player that's up to date in terms of some technology for a decent price. never trade it in to places like gamestop or anything cause they will rip you off, check around ebay and kijiji to get an idea of where others have their prices and that should help guide you.
