Missed period negative hpt.?

Question

I am now 3 days past my period date. I took two hpt's this morning. They both came out negative. I dont think I did the second one right because I didnt get enough urine on it. I am having pregnancy symptoms so I am confused. I am not sure what to do. I am going to get another hpt of a different brand. I just need a little advise on what I should do or if there are other women who have been through the same thing. I will mention that I did have a misscariage last august but all went well afterwards. Regular periods and regular ovulation. Any advise would be very helpful.

Okay well it can take up to 21 days after period for positive result anyway. You could just be late on your period. It's very early to tell. You need to use your first morning wee. And follow manufacturers instructions. If after 7 days still no period and negative test go to your doctor and take first morning wee sample. They may perform bloods to count hcg levels. But in my case told me to wait and see.

You might want to make a appointment with your doctor and have them test your blood. Not everyone will get a positive pregnancy test. Good luck :)
