Why do some people put religion before their own children?

what is so good about a thing that you have never seen, heard, smelled, touched or tasted that would make you put the thing that you grew in your body then gave birth to second. your children rely on you for everything including love yet you have more for this being than your own children.

Many a child has been kicked out of their home for not sharing the same beliefs as their parents

Update:

Bloodkni. him and i have also seen it many times with my own eyes catholics and JW seem to be the worst at it

i'm no longer so effective it may be an progression as a results of fact maximum folk, whilst left to their own units, will manufacture a collection of reasons to no longer do some thing, very genuine of young ones. it rather is organic for the age team, to question, and attempt, and test. At that age, maximum folk sense they are invincible. they have no desire for faith as a results of fact they are no longer going to die for a protracted, long term. as though young ones do no longer die. yet another "reason" to no longer bypass to church? they think of each and all the church needs is money. they in many cases don't have plenty, so what they have is considerable to them, and that they sense the church needs too a large number of it. They forget approximately the lesson of the widow's mite. yet another "reason"? teenagers who bypass to church are "nerds" and that they does not be caught ineffective, brilliant around with nerds. So, the place are they going to earnings approximately a great form of those different religions? who's going to instruct them? Is that guy or woman or team coaching good faith, or witchcraft? Heck, you won't be able to have confidence the persons in cost of your little ones at nursery college, wide-unfold college, and hundreds of alternative places now, is it smart, as a determine, to no longer question what your baby is being taught? young ones only are not inspired to envision and study those different religions, they had fairly play video games. besides, this is the determine's accountability to develop the baby in what the kin faith is. young ones do no longer think of they have any use for kin togetherness now, yet whilst they are older, they'll. you will pay attention grownups that say "My spouse's kin continuously have been given mutually for a huge Christmas dinner, yet mine by no ability did..." My husband's kin has been participants of that church as a results of fact it became formed. They helped build the construction, my kin did no longer bypass to church different than to be marrird and buried." i think of i will carry on with the present custom.
