I see alot of lamb at the meat counter in the stores but I don't know what it tastes like?
I would like to try it but also know what it may be similar to...I have eaten goat (cabrito) and like it when cooked right. I see many recipes for lamb so for someone who has never tried it could someone provide a good recipe so I may try it? I see all cuts of lamb here at the stores in Chicago so that isn't a problem. Thanks!!!

If you like Gyros sandwiches, then you will like lamb. Gyros is lamb and beef mixed, depending on how it's processed. Best thing to do is get some ground lamb and make a burger first...If you like that, it's a sure bet you will like roasts and chops! Enjoy!

Lamb is the tastiest meat, and lamb fat makes the best roast potatoes too.
Mix crushed garlic and rosemary with a little oil. Spread it on a lamb leg chop. Cover and leave for 2 hours, then grill. It's lovely.

Yum! Lamb is delicious and flavorful. The texture resembles sort of like beef but it also is tender.
I live in a chicago as well.
Rack of lamb is very good as well as lamb chops.

Roast lamb is wonderful, and I prefer it to beef.
It is a subtle taste and not as strong as beef, but is different.
You cannot explain it to someone, but definately try it
