How To Change Front Turn Signal Bulb 2005 Montana?

Everything (including the owner's manual) tells me to loosen the thumbscrew and tilt the turn signal assembly out to replace the bulb. Problem is, there is no separate turn signal assembly or thumbscrew. It's all part of the headlight assembly. How do I get the headlight assembly out? There are plastic tab-like things at the top but they don't seem like they want to separate from what is holding them.

Thank you for any help!

Update:

I could barely get the person to ring me up after I found the bulb, let alone help with advice. If I can't get this figured out, I'll take it to my mechanic. He may not even charge me I just prefer to do some things by myself. The tail light was easy peasy.

Update 2:

Okay, I thought out of the box and looked at the next year. Even though my vehicle and the manual are for a 2005, the headlight assembly is the same as a 2006. Once I figured that out, I got the correct bulb (yeah, that changed with a 2006, too), removed a pin & a screw. Then the headlight assy came out enough to change the bulb with ease. I'll take the incorrect bulb back tomorrow.

Thanks!

I don't know the answer to your question. but I have to be honest-- After 40 years of trying to save money by doing it myself, I've finally learned that I just don't save much by doing so. But...I've learned that Advance Auto has very reasonable costs for this kind of stuff. And FYI--they don't charge at all for windshielf wiper replacing. Good luck!!
